NHCA: Build the Builder 2026 Recap

Quotr at the NHCA Build the Builder Program: Supporting the Next Generation of Developers

At Quotr, we believe the construction industry grows stronger when the builders shaping it have access to the right knowledge, the right networks, and the right tools. That’s exactly why we were proud to sponsor and partner with the National Hispanic Construction Alliance (NHCA) for their Build the Builder Program — and why joining the 2026 Los Angeles cohort for a day was an experience we won’t forget.

About the Build the Builder Program

The NHCA Build the Builder Program is a month-long intensive designed to equip emerging real estate developers and contractors with everything they need to navigate the full development lifecycle — from site control and budgeting to construction management, financing, and homeownership resources. The 2026 LA cohort spent four days in immersive, in-person training covering nine modules, followed by two weeks of mentorship from seasoned industry professionals, and culminating in a Showcase where teams pitched real development projects to a panel of judges.

It’s a serious, well-structured program — and the people in that room were equally serious about leveling up.

Our Day with the Cohort

We joined the 2026 Los Angeles cohort for one of their training days, and the energy was immediately clear: these were builders who came ready to work.

Our time with the group had two parts. First, we joined a panel alongside other experienced industry professionals, where the conversation opened up to broader questions about tools, technology, and what it takes to run a successful operation in today’s construction landscape.

From there, we moved into a live demo where we walked attendees through Quotr — showing them what the tool does, how it works, and most importantly, how they can start implementing it into their business practices from day one. Watching the group engage in real time, asking sharp questions and immediately connecting the dots to their own projects, was genuinely energizing.

Why This Partnership Matters

Sponsoring the Build the Builder Program wasn’t just a marketing decision — it was a values decision. NHCA is doing meaningful work to develop the next generation of builders and contractors, and we wanted to be part of that mission in a real way.

The developers and contractors in that room represent the future of this industry. Giving them early access to tools like Quotr — and helping them understand how technology can streamline their workflows and sharpen their competitive edge — is the kind of impact we set out to create when we built this product.

Thank You, NHCA

To the NHCA team, the instructors, the mentors, and everyone in the 2026 LA cohort who showed up and engaged so fully with our demo and the panel — thank you. Your energy and curiosity made the day everything we hoped it would be.

We’re proud to support the work NHCA is doing, and we look forward to continuing this partnership as the program grows.

Keep building. We’ll keep showing up.
