Addendum
What is an addendum?
An addendum is an official change or clarification to the bid documents issued before bids are due.
Every addendum has to be folded into the takeoff — miss one and you have priced the wrong scope. Addenda can revise drawings, specs, quantities, bid forms, or due dates.
Estimating teams usually track addendum numbers on a checklist and re-run affected quantities before the bid goes out.
Why it matters
Pricing an outdated set is one of the fastest ways to win a job you cannot execute profitably.
